12/30/2021 0 Comments Why meditate? This is a great question! I like to question myself on this! I know it helps me to feel less overwhelmed in general, and less easily startled, calmer, even with so many unknowns. I have always been a seeker of other states of mind, and had a feeling that there is more than meets the eye. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was exposed to so many ideas, and really taught to think out of the box. This was before the dot com boom. My father is a scientist and I was constantly questioned. I became aware that I could sense things about people and that drew me to the Berkeley Psychic Institute. I now know that I am an empath and I pick up on all kinds of things. Meditation helps me to discern and sort out what is my energy and others. The main thing I use it for is to get clear. Otherwise I start to feel kind of bogged down. My favorite energy tool/ meditation is to run energy through my system. Within five minutes, I feel so much better! So for me, meditation helps me to feel less overwhelmed. This can lead to depression for me. It is amazing what a regular practice can do for you. I have helped many people develop their own meditation practices. Please contact me with any questions. Meditation can and is for everyone. I is a natural ability we all have and in fact we all meditate without realizing it. You don't have to be "special" to meditate, I am a mom, wife, business owner, cranky human. Much love, Warmly, Stefanie Rothert
